Faux leather exterior (jewellery boxes, bags, wash bags, makeup bags) 

Apply a small amount of gentle multi-surface polish — available from most supermarkets or hardware stores — to a soft cloth, such as a microfibre cloth, and gently buff the area. Repeat as needed until you're happy with the result.

Jewellery box lining

Gently rub any marks with a soft, clean cloth. To remove dust or fluff, a small piece of Sellotape works well — just make sure it isn't too sticky, as this could damage the velvet lining.
